Criminal lawyers can either be a prosecutor or a defense attorney.
Lawyers are generally in an office. Sometimes they will have to go to hospitals, homes etc. to meet with clients or witnesses. Lawyers spend a lot of time reading, writing and preparing information. They usually work about 9 hours a day. Overtime is very common. Criminal lawyers have to be able to put up with a lot of pressure, they have to be quick and witty in the courtrooms. Being charismatic is usually a common trait. Being able to talk to people one on one and public speaking is a large part of the job as well.
